Skyrim: Dragonborn

Fresh off the heels of the rather-boring “Hearthfire” downloadable content, Bethesda has announced the next bit of DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The main character of the game is a Dragonborn, but this latest content, also called “Dragonborn,” pertains to literally the first Dragonborn ever. He looks pretty tough too!

Skyrim‘s “Dragonborn” is releasing on Xbox 360 on December 4, provided you’ve got 1600 Microsoft Points you’re willing to part with. $20 is a bit pricey, so hopefully it’s more content-rich than “Dawnguard,” the first Skyrim DLC that cost the same amount. There are no details about a PC version, but it will surely get a release down the line. It’s PS3 owners that will be most saddened by the lack of an announcement, as it continues the trend of Skyrim‘s DLC skipping Sony’s platform due to Bethesda’s inability to wrangle new content into the complex game without causing problems for many players. Hopefully Bethesda can work it out…but as more and more time passes, it seems less and less likely. Still, fingers crossed!
