Here’s a short and sweet teaser trailer to promote the upcoming Walking Dead video game from Telltale Games. Not much happens in it, but it seems to be a pretty good indicator of the tone for the game – heavy and depressing. Which is fine by me, considering most recent adventure games deign towards the humorous end of things. A full trailer is supposed to come out Monday, so if you like what you see, watch Telltale’s site for all the details!
So how better to watch The Avengers this summer than in 3D? Depends on your preference I suppose. As a glasses-wearer myself, I find 3D glasses and 3D films as a whole very clumsy, but it’s hard to argue when people are swarming into 3D films. So it looks like the new promotional tie-in for 3D films will be custom 3D glasses, like these Avengers-themed glasses. It’s just a rumor, but Latino Review claims to have the scoop regarding the plot of Iron Man 3, including its potential villain — if you can call it that. Since it’s just a rumor, I’m not really sure how much of a spoiler it’d be but better safe than sorry. If you absolutely want to avoid any rumors about the film, and considering The Avengers hasn’t even hit theaters yet, that might not be a bad idea, then read no further. Otherwise, hit the jump.
Fans of Marvel’s animated universe are getting ready for next month’s premiere of Ultimate Spider-Man — well, most of them any way. Some are still wondering what happened to Marvel’s The Spectacular Spider-Man which ended its run after two seasons, despite being well received by fans and critics alike.

We’ve lost an incredible man. French artist and designer Jean Giraud passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was 74.
His influence on comics, movies, and more has been felt throughout the world. From Alien to Tron, from Blueberry to Arzach. His accomplishments are simply staggering. So much has been influenced by him, whether directly or indirectly – it’s impossible to list everything here. But for now I’d like to simply have a gallery of work from the man himself. Read more…
Looking for bizarre promotional products for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man film? Here’s one of the oddest: Spider-Man nail polish. Sure, given the market that the new movie is aimed at, this isn’t too surprising, but I can’t help but feel that fan girls won’t really flock to this. Today, Paramount and Marvel are set to release their latest trailer for The Avengers. It’s available via Apple.com, so we won’t be able to stream it for you, but if you’re so inclined, click here to visit Apple’s trailer page. The film is still set for early May, so we only have a few more months to wait and from what we’ve seen so far, I really hope it’ll be worth the wait. What little has been revealed seems promising enough, but even with all the press floating around the set, there’s always that chance the film could fail to deliver — especially when dealing with such a star-studded cast. There’s a lot of egos involved, and it’ll be interesting to see if they function dynamically. Whedon certainly had his work cut out for him, so let’s hope it pays off. The Avengers will hit theaters May 4th.
This has been a long time coming, but now they’re finally here. Starting today, Marvel will be releasing its digital graphic novels via Apple’s iBookstore. So far there is over sixty titles available from their catalog from popular titles like X-Men, The Avengers, Spider-Man and more. I know many of you are still comic book purists and have to physical copies, but for those of you who’ve embraced the digital age, this should provide a welcome alternative. Hey wow, now you can own every Fold-In Al Jaffee ever did for Mad Magazine! (But only 1964 through 2010; you’ll have to wait until 2058 to get last year’s worth.) That is, you can if you’re willing to drop $79 for the just-published 4-volume hardcover slipcase edition. However it would’ve cost you quite a bit less last night if you bought it at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in downtown Manhattan – and Al, who was on hand would probably have signed it for you.
