The Humble Indie Bundle is back for the eighth time, and it’s another great pack of games. Little Inferno, Dear Esther, Awesomenauts, Capsized, Thomas Was Alone, and (if you pay more than the average) Hotline Miami and Proteus. Every single one of those games are fantastic, and some of my favorite indie games ever are in there. Given how cheap it is, this is a wonderful deal. And look, Notch is the top donator so far. Watch Minecraft Creators Mojang Create a Game in 60 Hours

Interested in how games are made? Maybe interested in some charity too? Well today is your lucky day, as the organizers of the incredibly popular Humble Bundle are partnering with Mojang (creators of Minecraft) to create a game in 60 hours for charity. Basically, by the time the weekend is over, you’ll see a finished game show up. Currently, polls on Mojang’s site are dictating that the game will be a “steampunk real time strategy” game. Darth Vader Helmet Art Contest to Benefit Charity

You may remember me mentioning an awesome Skeletor/Darth Vader mask a while back. It was part of HalloweenCostumes.com’s Vader Helmet Art Contest, and guess what? Now you have a chance to own it, or one of many other fantastic Vader helmets that are going up for auction. 24 artists were selected to create a custom Darth Vader helmet, and on February 7th, they’ll go up for auction on HalloweenCostume’s site.
