The Humble Indie Bundle is back for the eighth time, and it’s another great pack of games. Little Inferno, Dear Esther, Awesomenauts, Capsized, Thomas Was Alone, and (if you pay more than the average) Hotline Miami and Proteus. Every single one of those games are fantastic, and some of my favorite indie games ever are in there. Given how cheap it is, this is a wonderful deal. And look, Notch is the top donator so far. Maybe you could beat him in donating more? It’s all for good games and a good cause! Read more…

Humble Indie Bundle 7 – Now With More!

Humble Indie Bundle is one of the coolest things coming out of the industry, in my opinion. It’s a cheap way to get great games, and it supports charity in the process. Pay what you want for 5 items, or pay above the average for 2 more games! What you get this year is Snapshot, The Binding of Isaac, Closure, Indie Game: The Movie, and Shank 2. Pay above the average, and you get Dungeon Defenders and Legend of Grimrock. And that’s not even including the bonus soundtracks. Like I said, it’s a great deal, and you’ll be supporting Child’s Play and the EFF! You can also adjust the donation percentages, so you can give more to charity or the developers! Check it out here.

Humble Indie Bundle V is the Best Bundle Yet

Posted by Ben Huber on Jun 1, 2012 in Videogames

Don’t just take my word for it, listen to Tim Schafer and the “Bastion narrator guy” tell you – Humble Indie Bundle V is amazing. The premise is the same as always: pay what you want for four great indie games, and if you pay above the average, you get a fifth. Plus it all goes to charity! The games this time around are LIMBO, Psychonauts, Amnesia, Sword & Sworcery EP, and Bastion, the fifth unlockable game. Not only that, you get each game’s respective soundtrack (and all of them are pretty darn good). There’s really no reason not to pick this up, even if you have most of these games already. 13 days are left, so don’t wait too long.
