The Samurai Pizza Cats Return to America in July

This just in from Discotek Media: “The English dubbed Samurai Pizza Cats complete series official release date will be July 30th 2013! We are doing a complete series box set with all 52 episodes on 8 DVDs. It will be $79.95 retail.” So now I guess some of you are asking “Who are these Samurai Pizza Cats?” Well here’s a taste:

Samurai Pizza Cats is the English dub of the anime series Kyatto Ninden Teyandee キャッ党 忍伝 てやんでえ which aired in Japan back in 1990. Saban which is best known for the Power Rangers picked up the series for distribution in North America and has become a cult hit for a certain generation of otaku.
