New Eureka Seven anime season coming in April, director rumored
Now, I don’t always like to bring up every little new anime series that gets announced, because frankly there are too many out there. However, the popularity of Eureka Seven is undeniable and while I had some issues with the first season, it was still a fairly solid series and the fans adore it. So I’m sure they’re happy to be hearing that a second season, called Eureka Seven AO, has been confirmed for April 2012 by the official website.
The director is currently rumored to be Tomoki Kyoda, the director of the original season. Some were wondering if he’d return, but I highly doubt he’d refuse to continue his most popular work. Despite all this good news, I can’t help but be wary of this. BONES hasn’t put out a good show in a long while, so it’s going to take a lot of work to get me excited for more Eureka Seven at the moment.
