Final Episode Of Hellsing Ultimate To Release In December
Hellsing Ultimate, a new animated adaptation that adheres closer to the manga it is based on, has been running since 2006. There are currently nine episodes released as OVAs, but all good things must come to an end. On December 26, the tenth and final episode will be released in Japan, concluding the story. From the looks of the trailer below, it’s going to be an explosive finish, but what else would you expect from an anime about nazi vampires?
Meanwhile, America will have to make due with FUNimation’s releases of some earlier episodes. Episodes 1-4 will be released on October 30, while episodes 5-8 will be released on November 13. Both will be Blu-ray/DVD combo packs in fancy boxes. I suppose it will be some time before FUNimation puts out episodes 9 and 10, but hopefully this will tide over anyone interested in Hellsing Ultimate. I know I want to check it out now that the series is just about completed.
