Next Bakemonogatari Series Teased Alongside Newly Premiered Miniseries

Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari is one of the best anime of the previous decade, with a striking visual style and unusually smart dialogue. Shaft, the studio that has been adapting author Nisio Isin’s light novels, has previously announced plans to continue adapting his follow-up stories. Nisemonogatari aired earlier this year, and now we have a preview for even more.

Being a teaser, it’s not much, but it’s good to see that the series is continuing with a “second season” as Monogatari Series, or something to that effect. That supposedly covers the books Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Hanamonogatari, Otorimonogatari, Onimonogatari, and Koimonogatari. We’re still waiting on that movie for the prequel Kizumonogatari, Shaft!

If you’re looking for something a bit more substantial, here’s the opening of Nekomonogatari (Black), which just started airing on New Year’s Eve in Japan.
