Tearaway Will Tickle Your Papercraft Fancy

Sony’s Playstation Vita has been languishing a bit, but several excellent-looking games are showing up to boost the little handheld’s library. Most notably, fresh out of Gamescom, Media Molecule (the studio behind LittleBigPlanet) has announced Tearaway, a delightful platforming and puzzle game. Most unique is the way they use the rear touch pad on the Vita: you can poke your fingers into the paper-filled world to mess with enemies, solve puzzles, or change the map. LittleBigPlanet is Taking Over the World

This is the last scene from LittleBigPlanet and it looks absolutely stunning — not only that but the game play looks interesting which means that this title is more than just eye candy. If the rest of the game is this good I can easily see that it could drive sales for PlayStation 3 in the near future and help Sony win some mind space back from Nintendo. The game is being released this week and you can pre-order it from Amazon: LittleBigPlanet
